Think Crew is excited to announce that we will be launching a Team Plan in v2.6 on Monday January 12, 2026.
New Team Plan
Team is a payment plan intended for features and series. This plan allows shows to pay for Think Crew directly, instead of relying on crew to have their own subscriptions.
It will also allow any user in a Team project full access to all Think Crew features, regardless of their individual subscription status. This includes free users. Any user invited to a Team project will have unfettered access to all features including AI scene descriptions, printing, exporting, etc. in that project.
Authorized members of a Team project will also be able to invite an unlimited number of users to that project – allowing any number of team members access to the real time information available in Think Crew. And of course, they will be able to utilize our granular permissions to control what each of those users is able to see and do.
Important Changes for Individual Subscribers
If you are an annual or monthly individual subscriber almost everything will remain the same. However, we will be limiting the number of users you can invite to your projects. Going forward you will only be able to invite up to 3 users. That will mean a total of 4 users in any project, including yourself.
We considered the number of collaborators carefully and researched user habits and real world use cases. For most small features, web series and shorts, those projects have fewer than 4 total collaborators. This makes sense, presuming a traditional structure of production manager, first AD, second AD and possibly one other.
We are giving everyone advanced notice of this change so that you can plan accordingly, particularly if you’re on a show right now. If you want to take advantage of this extra time and invite extra users to your project now, please feel free to do so.
Important Changes for Free Users
Free plan users will only be able to create up to 5 projects and will be able to be invited into projects, but will not be able to invite users into their own projects. And of course, free users still won’t be able to print, use the AI tools or export their data.
Your Existing Projects
For all users nothing will change in your previously created projects. All of your invited users will still have the same access they did previously and you may continue using those projects normally – regardless of the number of collaborators in those projects.
When v2.6 launches on Jan 12, individual subscribers will only be allowed to share their project with additional users if they have fewer than 3 other users in that project.
For free users, if you have more than 5 projects, you can keep using all of those projects. After v2.6 launches you will only be able to create new projects if you have fewer than 5 total projects.
The New Plans
When v2.6 launches on Jan 12, the new payment plans will be:

Commitment
Think Crew is committed to creating the best, most feature rich scheduling software in the entertainment industry. We are so excited to launch this new Team pricing plan and we hope that you are excited as well.
The changes we’ve made are important to us as a company. Think Crew started as an entirely free service back in 2019 and we’ve worked hard to keep our pricing as accessible as possible. The mild restrictions we’re implementing for the free and individual users are necessary as we grow the company and we appreciate your understanding as we push forward into this new area.
